The following will hopefully clarify the working Bee (Weekend Away).

For purposes of accommodation and catering it is essential that you advise Frankly if you are attending this spectacular event.

The basic cost of the weekend is $60.00 per head.

Accommodation;

Other than camping on site, Star Hotel and Mandirin Hotel

There is also accommodation available at the pub with no beer (17km away) or in Macksville (10km away).

You will all need to work out amongst yourselves who is staying where and bring appropriate linen and blankets. 

Showers and toilets

The toilets at the Utungun Hall will be available for everyone to use.   Both properties are on tank water and have septic systems, so showers must be kept short so as not to overload the system (this will be a very bad outcome for everyone).  PS. men to pee in the bush wherever possible.

What to bring

Linen: sheets, blankets, pillows towels

Warm clothes for night and working clothes during the day.  Safety footwear if you have it.

A pair of sturdy gloves

Hat

Eye protection (Sunglasses are sufficient)

Anyone who is a proud owner of a tool belt is welcome to show it off

Nambucca Heads golf club

• The cost is $20 for 9 holes or $35 for 18.
• Carts are also available –
  • $20 for 9 holes and $40 for 18.
• Tee off 1pm Friday

People who arrive early on Friday can choose to help with preparation work…… there’s no getting out of work on a farm

The Star Hotel is approximately 10km from Impi’s, if you plan to drink please plan your trip home. A Taxi will cost approximately $35.00. Car pooling encouraged for those that would like to consume a few. Leave a car in town and arrange for it to be picked up by the Saturday Shopping Team.

At Utungun Hall, Bacon & Egg roll with BBQ sauce, Juice

Tea or coffee.

Saturday 09h00 Working bee starts

The Hash’s attending the working bee will be split into two teams, one team will construct a horse shelter and the other will construct a bridge, or pontoon – rain dependant!

No alcohol to be consumed during the construction.

13h00 Lunch Utungun  Hall

Salad roll, bbq chicken & soft drink 

7pm Saturday night Dinner at Utungun hall  

Sheep on the Spit, Supplied by Impi (Bucket supplied by hash)

A fire to keep everyone from freezing to death will be provided.     

8am Sunday Breakfast at Utungun Hall   

At Utungun Hall, Sausage on a roll with BBQ or tomato sauce, Juice

Tea or coffee.

9am Working Bee starts  

Finish the bridge (pontoon) and shed (Clean-up finishing touches)

11am Sunday Morning hash walk and run start at Utungun Hall

Hash Bucket as per usual

12pm Sunday Lunch at Pub with No Beer

7pm Sunday night Dinner at Utungun hall  

Pizza $10, and bucket $10   

09am Monday Morning

Breakfast – whatever is left over from the previous days.
